About the Game

What Was Written? challenges your short-term memory in a fun and simple way. Memorize and recall patterns of words as quickly as possible!

No ads, no sign-ins, no data collection. This game is fully offline and designed for your privacy and enjoyment.

Privacy Policy

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

However, in order to provide leaderboard functionality, we collect and store the Android Device ID (Android_ID). This identifier is used solely to distinguish users for the purpose of tracking high scores and showing top player rankings. The Android ID is stored securely on our server and is not shared with any third party.

We take appropriate security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access and disclosure.

In addition, we may use third-party SDKs for analytics and advertising purposes. These SDKs may collect non-personally identifiable information such as Device ID, app usage data, and crash logs.

All collected data is automatically deleted within 90 days, unless required longer for functionality (e.g., leaderboard records). We are fully compliant with Google Play’s User Data policy and are committed to protecting user privacy.

Data Deletion

If you wish to delete your leaderboard record, you can do so directly from within the game by using the “Delete My Score” option available in the Leaderboard section. Your Android Device ID will be used to identify your entry, and your record — including the Android ID — will be permanently deleted from our database.
